Highland Road Park Observatory

Saturday, 23 February from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Did you just get a scope? Or have you had one for a few months, but have gotten so confused or frustrated you’ve left it alone?

Don’t let your frustration keep you from viewing the sky. HRPO staff and BRAS members will be available for a hands-on introduction to scope operations. We’ll even take it outside for some practice, weather permitting. If the clouds aren’t in the way, the two targets we’ll focus on will be the Moon and the king of the planets—Jupiter!

Ages: The registrant must be over eighteen, but all members of the household are welcome to attend.

Cost: $15.00 per in-parish household; $18.00 per out-of-parish household.

Maximum Capacity: ten households (one telescope per household, please).

Registration Begins: 9 February.

Walk-ins the day of the course are welcome, but preregistration is strongly recommended.

Please bring all parts and accessories of the telescope, including the instruction manual.

People can register in person at HRPO. People can also register online at Webtrac.

Tell other scope owners, and don’t wait until the last minute to register!
