New Asteroids Sky Chart

Below are sky charts from The Sky6 Professional showing the relative positions, designations, and magnitudes of the asteroids discovered at the Observatory as seen from south, east, or west on Earth, and from above the plane of the solar system. Not all may be visible on the sky chart due to their current position, or on the solar system view because the MPC Ephemeris Service does not return data for the various planetarium software programs listed if they are based on Väisälä elements. Field of view for the sky charts is 100 degrees. The solar system view is 50 degrees, looking down from above. The date of all charts is the 15th day of the month, and the time is Midnight. Both are for Baton Rouge.
